It is the summer. It is time for kids to be off school and enjoying summer dance classes. At The Dance Connection, your kids can partake in our Performing Arts Camp where they can learn to dance, sing, act, paint and create gigantic scenery. Each week brings in new students and a new performance every Friday. Each week also gives your child or children the chance to learn new things and expand their horizons and talents.
Our summer camp is available to kids from kindergarten to fifth grade. We limit our summer dance classes and camp classes to 30 students per week so our highly qualified teachers can give your child the one on one attention they deserve and ensure that every student is seen and heard. Our small camp lets us create a close knit environment where campers and staff can really get to know each other and allows friendships to blossom.
All of our summer dance classes are taught by adult professionals who have extensive experience with children and years of experience in the performing arts. All of our teachers are also certified in first aid and CPR for the safety of your child. We also perform background checks on all our staff members to ensure the safety and security of your children while they are in our care.
One of the unique features we offer is the opportunity for you to work around your work schedule when dropping off and picking up your child. Our doors open at 7:30 A.M. for early arrivals when you have to be at work by 8:00. We also hold our doors open until 6:00 P.M. to ensure you can pick up your child without rushing from work and putting yourself in danger.
We are committed to your children and to teaching them the performing arts in our summer dance classes. We push the boundaries of your child to help them grow and learn to love dance, song, acting or any other performing art that interests them. We help them to discover and hone their talents and appreciate the arts in an entertaining and unique way.
Our state of the art facility fosters growth and learning. We have two studios with “sprung” floors and high end sound equipment for the best learning experience. We have a viewing area that does not interrupt the lesson or your children allowing you to monitor their progress. We seek to expand your child’s knowledge of the arts, pushing them to strive to do their best and helping them understand that their success in dance can also help them to be successful in other areas of their lives as they get older.
