The Dance Connection in Hillsborough, New Jersey, is a short drive from Montgomery and Somerset. Convenient extended hours allow you to be flexible with your drop off and pick up times. It couldnít be any more convenient to take your child to camp!
Staffed by highly qualified teachers, the Dance Connection provides a fun and safe environment for campers to learn. All teachers are certified in first aid and CPR, and have a wealth of experience with children and in their chosen fields. Other summer campsí programs have large classes to fit more students in, but the Dance Connection, class sizes are small, allowing more teacher-student interaction.
There are several dance options to choose from. The Angelina Ballerina Mini-Camp is for children ages three through six, and teaches the fundamentals of dance. There are also weekly classes that allow more flexibility and cover dance styles like jazz, hip-hop, and ballet. These classes vary by age. There are also two intensives: the Summer Dance Intensive and the Gymnastics, Ballet, and Breakdancing Intensive. The Summer Dance Intensive covers styles such as modern, musical theatre, and hip-hop, and often has teachers who are members of the professional dance community. The Gymnastics, Ballet, and Breakdancing Intensive focuses on gymnastics and breakdancing, with one daily session of ballet.
The Dance Connection also offers a performing arts camp! Campers act, dance, sing, and paint, creating both a show and the set to go with it. At the end of the week, campers perform their show for family and friends. This camp can be repeated, as each show is a unique experience. Other summer camps’ programs can’t compare with the Dance Connection’s performing arts camp!
