Hillsborough summer camps are a dime a dozen but the Dance Connection offers your child a unique camp that helps him or her explore her talents in dance, singing, painting and acting. The Dance Connection is offering your kids from kindergarten through fifth grade the opportunity to participate in our Performing Arts Camp through the summer break months.
Dance is a unique and special activity that benefits both children and adults in many ways. Dance increases body awareness, promotes brain development and teaches healthy habits. Dance also improves physiological health and helps make your children feel better. We seek to promote the awareness of dance in the local community through our Hillsborough summer camps. Your child may be curious about dance and the performing arts camp is the way to explore this without committing long term to any one activity. We seek to properly train and educate the dancers of the future and expand the boundaries of dance and dance education.
We have highly qualified teachers who have extensive experience with children and years of experience working with their art form. All our teachers are first aid and CPR certified as well as having gone through extensive background checks. We only take 30 students every week so that way your child is seen and heard. Our small camp lets us create an environment conducive to learning, making friends and receiving the individual attention each child needs.
Our Hillsborough summer camps last for a week and the children put on a show for their friends and family every Friday. You will be surprised at what your child learns in just one week and how well they can perform at the end of the week. You can also sign your child or children up for more than one week at a discounted price. We are sure your child will enjoy their time with us and you will be satisfied with our instructors and staff and the way we help your children learn and grow.
We allow for early drop off and evening pick up at no additional charge. Many Hillsborough summer camps do now allow for morning drop offs at 7:30 like The Dance Connection. You can pick up your child as late as 6:00 pm as one of our counselors will always be here. We try to make these times convenient for the working parent. After all, just because your child is off from school does not mean you are off from work.
We offer discounts for our Performing Arts Camp when you pay early, register your child for more than one week or register multiple children. This is a great place to teach your children the art of the arts and to entertain them for a couple of weeks throughout the summer.
